Members present: Chair Neal Carpenter, NC; Vince Ammendola, VA; Tim Flanagan, TF; Joe Strauch, JS; Rose Fitzgerald Casey, RFC; David Lane, DL
Absent with notification: Dick Ferren, DF
Staff present: Peggy Ammendola, PA
NOI, Broadway Electrical Co., Inc., Willow Creek Rd., Map 14 Parcels 2 and 3-Installation of a photovoltaic solar array within the buffer zone. Originally scheduled for October 17, 2013, but applicant requested to continue to Nov. 7th. At that hearing, agreed to continue to Nov. 21st for additional information. On November 19th, applicants requested this to be continued to December 5, 2013. Continued to June 5, 2014. Continued to December 19, 2013 for applicant to have the opportunity to provide dialogue in the event there is more information forthcoming. On December 17th applicants requested to continue to Jan. 16, 2014 and asked to keep the public hearing process open through the winter and early spring months of 2014 for the opportunity to continue
discussion as further developments arise. Continued from January 16, 2014. Advised on Feb. 18th that Broadway wishes to continue from February 20th to March 20th.
VA made a motion to continue to March 20, 2014. TF seconded the motion and the Commission voted to agree 6-0.
Circuit Rider to provide technical assistance on culverts-On February 19th, this was canceled until further notice.
Other business:
- Bernd Schoner, Map 1 Lot 36, 12 Sargent Brook Rd. On February 19th, Commission received MADep Transmittal Form for Permit Application, Transmittal Number X259123, from Marc Volk for the dock permit.
- Proposed Conservation Restriction entitled “Conservation Restriction from Town of Lenox to Town of Lenox, Acting by and through its Conservation Commission and Berkshire Natural Resources Council, Inc.”-Copy of letter from MADep, dated Feb. 12th to DPW Superintendent Sean VanDeusen was provided to each Commissioner
Approve minutes-February 6, 2014-TF made a motion to approve the minutes as amended. RFC seconded the motion and the Commission voted to approve 6-0.
Site Visits-February 27, 2014 at 3:00 pm -Dennis Ross, 83 Sherwood Map 18 Parcel 7 and Cranwell , 55 Lee Rd., Map 3 Parcel 54
RFC made a motion to adjourn at 7:45 pm. JS seconded the motion and the Commission voted to agree 6-0.
