Minutes
Members present: Chair Neal Carpenter (NC), David Lane (DL), Rose Fitzgerald Casey (RFC), Tim Flanagan (TM), Joe Strauch (JS), Dick Ferren (DF)
Lenox Scenic Mountain Act: The Commission reviewed the latest draft prepared by Peggy Ammendola. Some changes were made. After edits, a new draft will be prepared and sent to all Commissioners for review prior to the next meeting.
Site visit: On October 25, 2006, NC and JS met on site with Joe Toole and Mr. Toole's foreman to approve the fencing required by the CC. (Construction at Hampton Inn, Map 33 Parcel 1.)
Minutes: Dick made a motion to approve the minutes of October 19, 2006 and Joe seconded the motion. The Commission approved 6-0.
Town Properties: DL suggested that the Commission review the deed restrictions on properties belonging to the town and bring them up to date. He would like to make this a project for this winter. He believes some restrictions have run out or may need to be rewritten in order to preserve the properties. They are:
1. Parsons Marsh
2. Taylor-Undermountain Rd.
3. Laurel Lake
4. Post Farm
5. Parcel behind Caligari
PA will discuss with the Town Planner, Joellyn Warren, as to where the Commission can find this information and how to proceed.
