**Mike Cooney joins meeting @ 6:14pm.**

Sue has made 7 Outreach calls…our van continues to be used in high volume….In May we had 179 Congregate Meals.

Youth Services Report:  Jen continues to keep the kids busy….field trips and summer fun is all ready to run.  Michelle Messana is happy to be on board. See attached report for detailed events and outings.

Director’s Report:  In regards to our desire to have a “Pocket Park” in New Lenox  off of King William Road= Sheri, Tony and Kim visited the area and report that it is small.  Kim spoke to Rev. Tuck about St. Helena’s property- re: The Meadows are a Meditation Walk and the piece of land to the left of St. Helena’s parking lot is spacious and could work.  Brian Cogswell feels a lease agreement may work.  Brian Cogswell will approach his Board of Director’s.

Beach Update:  We officially open for the Summer tomorrow – June 22, 2017.  The Beach Improvement Project will resume September 4, 2017….God willing.

Heating project is underway.  Lighting project is held up due to a mess up with the ordering of materials, we are still waiting for Fixtures.

Summer Camp Registration cut off was May 30th this year.  If we were to extend it a week the impact would be:  for example- Mass MoCa…we say we have 60 kids and only 40 show up….we eat that money.  We have 6 more inquiries, as well as Busses and other services requiring numbers when booking event.

Kim tells us that Jen Delasco is working at Town Hall on a WEB design.  Kim will meet with Jen next week regarding the Center’s WEB page.

Payment up front:  Sheri heard one concern about requiring payment up front…..We need to Market better.  Kim would like to have on-line Registration’s.

Contra Dance issues:  Lateness, Open windows, folks on balcony, etc.  On June 18th a local family held their Graduation party here for their daughter – Contra was here at 11:00 in the morning, they had a dog running throughout the Center and the dog bit a child.  The father called Kim at home….a gentleman from Contra Dance wouldn’t get on the phone with Kim and denied that the dog was at the Center at all.  Kim continues to deal with this problem….may need to ask Contra Dance to leave and not use the Center anymore.

Jen Picard tells us about “Pickle Ball” in September….paint a line on Tennis Court, and has Teams.  Also Racket and Whiffle ball in September. Diane Romeo was telling Jen about this…sounds fun.

We have 4 Lifeguards for the Summer- Emma Merritt, Michale Haft, Abigail Brown and Lindsay Belair.
