Minutes
Members present: Frederick Keator (FK), Chair, Catherine May (CM), Joe G. Strauch (JGS), Olga Weiss (OW), Kate McNulty Vaughan, (KMV), Eugene Chague (EC), Albert Harper (AH) and Anthony Patella (AP).
Members absent: Dia Trancynger (DT)
Also in attendance: Mary Albertson (MA), Town Planner.
FK opened the meeting at 7:30 PM. FK welcomed Anthony Patella and Albert Harper. Discussion ensued regarding the meeting day and time. The consensus was to meet on Mondays at 7:30 PM. MA offered a tentative meeting schedule for FY’13 with the meetings starting in January 2012. KMV suggested that the committee hold two or three meetings in November and December to discuss the budget. Potential meetings dates are: November 14, 21 and December 5. MA will shift the proposed January 23 meeting to January 30. MA will invite Greg Federspiel and Marge Pero to attend a meeting in November or December to discuss the budget.
Members discussed the Lenox CPC plan and bylaw as well as Community Preservation Coalition. MA will send an email to the members with links t this information. MA said she would finalize the FY’13 application and make it available to the public by the end of the week. Ventfort Hall, The Mount and Church on the Hill have expressed an interest in applying for FY’13 funds. CM said the Housing Authority will probably apply for additional funds for the Curtis Porch restoration. MA said she anticipates that the Lenox Housing Trust will submit an application. Members asked about the status of the Library. MA said she would check with Greg Federspiel. FK asked about Baker’s Pond. MA said the project is complete. If additional funds are needed it is a
new application process.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:10PM The next meeting is November 14, 2011 @ 7:30 PM.
