Minutes
DK opened the meeting at 4:04 PM.
Members present: Dave Klausemeyer (DK), Chair, Ellen Jacobson (EJ), Debbie Burke (DB), Kate McNulty-Vaughan (KMV), Jackie McNinch (JM) and Olga Weiss (OW). Absent: Jo Anne Magee (JAM).
Also in attendance: Mary Albertson (MA), Town Planner.
Minutes: JM made a motion to approve the minutes of February 7, 2012. DB seconded the motion and the Board voted 7-0 to approve.
MA offered an update regarding the potential land donation. She talked to Frederick Keator who represents the property owner. Mr. Keator authorized MA to talk to Mark Volk of Foresight Land Services. She talked to Mr. Volk who confirmed that there is potential for the construction of one small single family house. He said that the house would have to be connected to town sever. Mr. Volk said the site work was completed in the late 1990’s. Conservation Commission action is required and plans would need to prepared. He offered a very general estimate of $5,000. OW made a motion to authorize DK to talk to Frederick Keator and Neal Carpenter, Chair of the Conservation Commission regarding the land donation. EJ seconded the motion and the
Committee voted 6-0.
KMV and OW offered an update on the Community Preservation Committee application process. They both stressed that it is a very competitive year.
The next meeting will be Monday - April 2, 2012 @ 3:00 PM. It will be a joint meeting with the Affordable Housing Committee.
