Lenox Affordable Housing Trustees

Minutes
Members present: Dave Klausemeyer (DK), Chair, Olga Weiss (OW), Ellen Jacobson (EJ), Kate McNulty-Vaughan (KMV) and Debbie Burke (DB).
Absent: Jo Anne Magee (JM).
Also in attendance: Mary Albertson (MA), Town Planner.
DK opened the meeting at 4:40 PM.
Minutes: DB made a motion to approve the September Minutes. EJ seconded the motion and the Board voted 5-0 to approve.
Members discussed the meeting with Connie Kruger. Members agreed that the Peer to Peer program will be on the Affordable Housing Committee agenda.
EJ recommended that each member find an example of a community that developed an affordable housing program and report back to the Trustees. KMV suggested that members visit the CHAPA website.
DK confirmed that there were no additional comments regarding the topic list for the Housing Symposium. Any additions or corrections should be sent to MA or DK by tomorrow at 5:00 PM. He will share the list with Berkshire Bank.
DB reported that it was a big week in New York with 10,000 new – well paying jobs being added in the greater Albany area. Albany is becoming the next “Tech Valley” and this is an opportunity for Lenox and the Berkshires.
The next meeting will be Monday– November 14, 2011 @ 3:15 PM.
