Lenox Affordable Housing Trustees

Minutes
DK opened the meeting at 4:10 PM.
Members present: Dave Klausemeyer (DK), Chair, Jo Anne Magee (JM), Ellen Jacobson (EJ), Debbie Burke (DB) Kate McNulty-Vaughan (KMV) and Jackie McNinch (JMc).
Absent: Olga Weiss.
Also in attendance: Mary Albertson (MA), Town Planner.
Minutes: DB made a motion to approve the October 3, 2011 Minutes. EJ seconded the motion and the Board voted 4-0-1 to approve. JM abstained because she did not attend the meeting.
DK asked MA to forward JMc a copy of the Planning Production Plan and the Affordable Housing Trust Declaration of Trust.
The Trustees discussed the membership of the Trust. The Declaration of Trust outlines the length of term; however, there are no term limits. KMV said she thought three or four Trustees had terms that expired in 2011. MA said she consulted with Mary Ellen Deming and was informed that the Trustees that had terms that expired in 2011 were reappointed in June. MA will confirm with Ms. Deming.
DK asked if he should continue to explore the idea of purchasing units at Morgan Manor. The consensus of the Trustees was to review this concept with Ms. Kruger (Peer-to-Peer consultant).
The Trustees discussed the CPC application process. Although this matter was discussed at the earlier Housing Committee Meeting the Trustees determined the application needs to be submitted by the Trustees because the funds would be in the Affordable Housing Trust.
The next meeting will be Monday– December 5, 2011 @ 3:15 PM.
