June 15, 2014 Work Session Conservation Commission
Present were Margaret Graciano, Tom Seidel, Dave Matesky, Larry Siebert, Pam Smillie. Brian Byrne and Mike Dufihlo had previous commitments. Roger Aubrey volunteered with his chain saw helping us cut a few downed trees to block some of the extra paths that have been created over the years.
For 2 1/2 hours we were able to move several wheel barrows full of wood chips to designate foot paths as well as protect roots and gather woody debris for further soil and plant development. The Commission was also able to string off newly seeded areas and put up more permanent re-vegetation signs.
