Conservation Commission work session minutes, June 10, 2012
Present: Larry Siebert, Dave Matesky, Mike Dufilo, Jess Wilson, Brian Byrne, Hank Dresch.
Absent: Pam Smillie. Also Present: Dexter Harding, Larry Garland.
The work session convened at 9:00am at the Prospect Farm gate.
The purpose of the work session was for the commission to hike into and view the third proposed timber harvest site in Prospect Farm, located east of Hub’s Loop ski trail. The group walked into the proposed harvest, bushwacked down an old fire road into a drainage, and ended up on the road near the proposed landing site. The commission plans to vote on this proposal at the next scheduled meeting.
