Traffic Issues

Brook & Main Streets

The Committee is in receipt of a letter from Katherine Pollard at 185 Brook Street.  In her letter Ms. Pollard expressed concern for the intersection of Brook & Main Streets.  However she also mentioned being near the Stow town line which is contradictory.  The Committee was confused by the location of her concern.

Chief Braga noted that there are no statistics that warrant a light at the intersection of Brook and Main Streets.  He referred to accident data.

The Committee also noted that the Lewis Street and Main Street intersection had been previously discussed and DPW is prepared to add signage after July 1, 2009.
