The Internal Traffic Committee met in the Selectman’s Hearing Room, Town Hall at 78 Main Street, Hudson, Massachusetts. At 10:00 the Committee called the meeting to order.

Traffic Issues
Rte 85 Widening Project
Present was: Christer Ericcson, GPI
David Baker, RK Associates
Forrest Lindwall, Mistry Associates
Mr. Ericcson presented that preliminary design of the Rte. 85 project. There was some discussion regarding the widening and areas for 4 lanes vs. areas for 5 lanes and the impact on the RK Expansion project. Mr. Ericcson also presented the design for a roundabout at the Washington Street/Broad Street intersection. No action was taken.
Shay Road
Ms. Burke presented an email from a resident of Shay Road who expressed concern regarding the speed limit on Shay Road. Mr. Marques suggested that orange warning signs be installed as a preliminary measure.
Site Plan Review
185-205 Washington Street/RK Plaza
Present was: David Baker, RK Associates

Mr. Lindwall presented the changes to the Committee. All items have been addressed and the Committee is satisfied.
Chief Braga, seconded by Tony Marques, made a motion to approve the site plan entitled “RK Towne Center Interim Expansion Hudson, MA” as drawn by Mistry Associates, Inc. of Reading, MA dated August 30, 2007 last revised October 26, 2007.
