The Internal Traffic Committee met at the South Street Parking Lot, Hudson, Massachusetts. At 9:00 am the Committee called the meeting to order.

South Street Parking Lot
The Committee viewed the overnight parking area behind the Horseshoe Pub. They counted approximately 45 spaces. They noted that the trash dumpster and various large pieces of junk from the Horseshoe Pub impeding parking spaces. Mr. Wood indicated that he would speak with the owners. An abandoned car was also noted. Chief Braga indicated that he would identify the owner of the vehicle and promptly get the vehicle removed.
The Committee agreed that 45 spaces were most likely sufficient to cover the need, but that on weekends many of those spaces were probably used by pub patrons. The Committee discussed the possibility of “overflow”.
The Committee then walked over to the municipal lot behind Aubuchon’s Hardware. The Committee counted approximately 16 spaces east of the building and approximately 10-15 spaces behind the building. After a brief discussion the Committee concluded that the spaces east of the building should be considered overflow parking.
Jeff Wood, second by Chief Dusseault, made a motion to recommend to the Board of Selectmen that the 16 easternmost parking spaces in the municipal lot behind the building at 109-121 Main Street.
