Minutes –November 21, 2016

  • Call to Order:
Present were Mr. Duplisea, Mr. Lucy, Mr. Parent, Mr. Quinn and Mr. Moses.  Also present were Attorney Cipriano and Ms. Santos.

Mr. Duplisea stated that  minutes to be approved, citizens issues, town issues and correspondence will all be passed over tonight until the Boards next meeting of December 5, 2016.

Selectmen to consider a change of address for McDonald’s from 32-36 Washington Street to 173 Washington Street effective November 22, 2016 and a change of corporate name from McDonald’s to JBK Management / McDonald’s.  
On a motion by Mr. Quinn, seconded by Mr. Parent, the Board voted 4-0 to approve the change of address for McDonald’s from 32-36 Washington Street to 173 Washington Street effective November 22, 2016 and a change of corporate name from McDonald’s to JBK Management / McDonald’s.  
Selectmen to consider approval of a Hackney Driver License to Milton Cohen driving for Sunshine Taxi.
On a motion by Mr. Parent, seconded by Mr. Quinn, the Board voted 3-1 to approve a Hackney Driver License to Milton Cohen driving for Sunshine Taxi.  Mr. Lucy opposed.
  • Personnel:
Selectmen to approve the appointment of Alexandria Boule as an intern for the “Friendly Chat” program through the Senior Center.  A stipend of $209 monthly will be funded through the State Formula Grant.
On a motion by Mr. Parent, seconded by Mr. Quinn, the Board voted 3-1 to approve the appointment of Alexandria Boule as an intern for the “Friendly Chat” program through the Senior Center.  A stipend of $209 monthly will be funded through the State Formula Grant.  Mr. Lucy opposed.
  • Contracts:
Selectmen to consider approval of the memorandum of Agreement between the Town of Hudson and Hudson Police Superior Officers Association for FY2017 – 2019.
On a motion by Mr. Parent, seconded by Mr. Quinn, the Board voted 4-0 to approve the memorandum of Agreement between the Town of Hudson and Hudson Police Superior Officers Association for FY2017 – 2019.

Mr. Durant arrived.

Selectmen to consider reappointment of Thomas Moses as Executive Assistant for a term to expire on June 30, 2018.
On a motion by Mr. Parent, seconded by Mr. Duplisea the Board voted 5-0 to reappoint Thomas Moses as Executive Assistant for a term to expire on June 30, 2018.
