Town of Hudson - Board of Selectmen
Minutes –February 14, 2013

Present were Mr. Vereault, Yates, Durant, McGourty, Lucy and Mr. Blazar. Attorney Cipriano and Ms. Santos were also present
Selectmen to conduct contract negotiations with non-union personnel.
The Board voted by roll call, by a margin of 4-1 to enter into executive session in accordance with Chapter 30A section 21A to conduct contract negotiations with non-union personnel, as the discussion of these matter in open session may have a detrimental effect on the bargaining position of the town. Mr. Durant opposed.
The Board reconvened in Public session.
On a motion by Mr. Lucy, seconded by Mr. McGourty the Board voted by a margin of 4-1 with Mr. Yates opposed to retain Attorney Phil Collins as Special Labor Counsel to assist in the negotiations relative to the Executive Assistant’s Evaluation Form and to request his presence at their next meeting of 2/25/13 at 7:00pm.
On a motion by Mr. Lucy, seconded by Mr. Vereault the Board voted by a margin of 5-0 to adjourn.
