Selectmen to meet with representatives from Melanson Heath to discuss Financial Statements Reports for fiscal 2015.
  • Licenses:
Selectmen to consider granting One-Day Entertainment and Transient Vendor licenses to the Assabet Valley Chamber of Commerce for its 29th Annual Community Festival to be held on June 11, 2016 from 9:00AM-3:30PM.
Selectmen to consider granting a One-Day Wine & Malt Liquor License and an Entertainment License to Justin Provencher / Hudson Rotary Club for the Spirit of Hudson event to be held on August 13, 2016 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Avidia Bank parking lot on South Street.
  • Personnel:
Selectmen to consider approval of appointments of Seasonal Employees for the Recreation Department for 2016.
Selectmen to consider appointing Alex Sanford as Summer Intern to the Hudson Veterans Office, effective June 7, 2016.
Selectmen to consider approval and authorization to sign an Employment Contract with Deborah A. Backman as Library Director.
Selectmen to consider approval of appointment of Melissa Galvin as Accounting Advisor for the Hudson Board of Health at M3, Step 1.
Selectmen to consider approval of appointment of Susan Carey and Kristen Woodbury to the Hudson Affordable Housing Trust, to a term to expire on 12/31/2017.
  • Contracts:
Selectmen to consider award of Centennial Beach and Wood Park Concession rights to Juniper Farms at 48.0% of gross sales for 2016.
Selectmen to consider award and authorization to sign a contracts with E.H. Perkins Construction Inc. and Brox Industries Inc. for Bituminous Concrete for FY2017.
Selectmen to consider amending the contract with Blue Bumble in an amount not to exceed $9,999 for banners for the 150th Celebration.

Selectmen to consider award and authorization to sign a contract with Green International in the amount of $48,511.73 to conduct Tier 2 Scope of Work for the Complete Streets project.
Note:  Funded by MassDOT grant for Complete Streets.
Selectmen to consider award and authorization to sign a contract with New England Waste Service of ME, Inc. d/b/a Casella Organics for Sludge Transportation and Disposal.
  • General:
Selectmen to consider approval of HUD-TV FY2017 Budget in the amount of $223,682.
Selectmen to consider approval of FY2017 Salary Scale for Seasonal Employees for the Recreation Department, effective June 7, 2016.
Note:  Updated seasonal salary scale reflects the upcoming minimum wage increase from $10.00 to $11:00/hr.
Selectmen to consider approval and award of bonds and execution of documents.
Selectmen to consider issuance of a warrant, pursuant to MGL Chapter 140 § 151A of the MGL to capture, confine and, if necessary, euthanize unlicensed dogs in the Town.
Note:  This is an annual requirement to allow the Animal Control Officer to carryout the duties pursuant to Chapter 140 Section 151A.
