                Note:  The Dispatcher appointments are necessary to fill vacancies.  The                                Seasonal employees appointments are to staff summer programs in the                        respective departments
Selectmen to consider approval of appointment of Thomas Neufell as a Full-Time Communication Dispatcher at Grade 10, Step 1, effective June 4, 2015.    
Selectmen to consider approval of appointment of Nicholina Gioiosa as Part-Time Communication Dispatcher at NU-E, Step 1, effective June 4, 2015.
Selectmen to consider approval of appointments of 2015 Seasonal Employees for the Department of Public Works.
Selectmen to consider approval of appointment of 2015 Seasonal Employees for the Recreation Department.
  • Contracts:
Selectmen to consider award of Centennial Beach and Wood Park Concession rights to Juniper Farms at 49.0% of gross sales for 2015.
                Note:  This contract was put out to bid and Juniper Farms was low-bidder.                       Juniper Farms is also a past contractor.
Selectmen to accept and authorize signing a contract with Mass Department of Health in the amount of $100,000 for Substance Abuse Prevention Collaborative services.
                Note:  This contract is for a grant that the Health Department received
Selectmen to consider approval and authorization to sign a contract with Lazaro Paving Corp. in the amount $308,885.10 for the Reconstruction & Reclamation of Vernon Drive, and a portion of Parmenter Road .
                Note:  This project is funded with tax revenue and was put out to bid, a total of               four bids were received.  Lazaro Paving was the low-bidder.

  • General:
Selectmen to consider issuance of a warrant, pursuant to MGL Chapter 140 § 151A of the MGL to capture, confine and, if necessary, euthanize unlicensed dogs in the Town.
                Note:  This is an annual requirement to allow the Animal Control Officer to                     carryout the duties pursuant to Chapter 140 Section 151A.  
Selectmen to consider allowing a temporary change of location of the Hudson-Concord Lodge Bingo license to the Portuguese Club starting on June 18, 2015 through the end of September 2015.  
                Note:  The Change of location is to accommodate renovations at the Hudson-                      Concord Elks.
Selectmen to consider acceptance of a $5,000 donation from Benderson Development for a marketing program to promote all restaurants in Hudson.
                Note:  This donation is in consideration of the Town’s efforts to obtain                                additional liquor licenses, and will be used to promote downtown restaurants.
Selectmen to consider approval and execution of documents for the sale of $1,595,978 in Bond Anticipation Notes.
Selectmen to consider approval at a subsequent Selectman meeting to amend the Personnel Regulations by adding Municipal Vehicle & Equipment Policy.

Selectmen to meet in Executive Session to discuss strategy with respect to I.A.F.F. collective bargaining, and or seek advice of counsel, where an open meeting may have detrimental effect on the bargaining position of the public body and the chair so declares.
