Minutes of Meeting – August 19, 2014
The Hudson Planning Board met at the Town Hall, 78 Main Street, Hudson, Massachusetts.
At 7:00 p.m., Bob D’Amelio called the meeting to order.
Present: Bob D’Amelio, Dirk Underwood, Rodney Frias, David Daigneault and Teresa Vickery, Clerk.
14 High Street: Site Plan Review
Mr. D’Amelio convened the Public Hearing.
The Board is in receipt of an email from Austin Turner of Bohler Engineering dated August 14, 2014 requesting the hearing be continued to September 2, 2014. The applicant has not completed its hearing with it the Internal Traffic Committee and cannot proceed with the Planning Board until it ends.
There was no discussion regarding the petition.
Rodney Frias, seconded by Dirk Underwood, made a motion to continue the public hearing for 14 High Street until September 2, 2014 at 7:00 PM.
Vote: 4-0-0, Unanimous
Scenic Road Tree Hearing: Brigham Street
Mr. D’Amelio convened the Public Hearing.
Three trees along Brigham Street have been flagged for removal. The trees have been deemed dead and potentially hazardous and should be taken down by the DPW. The trees are as follows:
Pole 67 Brigham Street 30” MAPLE
Pole 67 Brigham Street 12” MAPLE
Pole 62 Brigham Street 16” OAK
Dirk Underwood, seconded by David Daigneault, made a motion to close the public hearing.
Vote: 4-0-0, Unanimous.
Rodney Frias, seconded by Dirk Underwood, made a motion to approve the removal of the following trees:
Pole 67 Brigham Street 30” MAPLE
Pole 67 Brigham Street 12” MAPLE
Pole 62 Brigham Street 16” OAK
Vote: 4-0-0, Unanimous.
Minutes
Bob D’Amelio, seconded by Rodney Frias, made a motion to accept the minutes of August 5, 2014, as written.
Vote: 3-0-1, David Daigneault abstained.
Adjournment
Rodney Frias, seconded by Dirk Underwood, moved to adjourn at 7:10 PM.
Vote: 4-0-0, Unanimous
