Minutes of Meeting – October 19, 2010
The Hudson Planning Board met at the Town Hall, 78 Main Street, Hudson, Massachusetts.
At 7:00 p.m., Bob D’Amelio called the meeting to order.
Present: Bob D’Amelio, Rodney Frias, Tom Collins, Dirk Underwood, David Daigneault, Jennifer Burke, Planning Director and Teresa Vickery, Clerk.
Planner’s Report
Lot Release – 71 Laurel Drive
Ms. Burke informed the Board that Atty. Yates is requesting the lot at 71 Laurel Drive be released from the 1996 covenant as it was never released. Atty. Yates says that the lot cannot be sold until it is released from the covenant.
The Board has no issues.
Rodney Frias, seconded by Dirk Underwood, made a motion to release the lot at 71 Laurel drive from the 1996 covenant.
Vote: 5-0-0, Unanimous
ANR
163 Marlboro Street
The applicant is seeking to shift lot lines in order to create a new parcel. The Board reviewed the plans and had no issues with them.
Rodney Frias, seconded by Dirk Underwood, made a motion to accept the plan entitled “Plan of Land in Hudson, MA” as drawn by Thomas Land Surveyors and Engineering Consultants of Hudson, MA dated August 19, 2010 and authorize the Agent to sign.
Vote: 5-0-0, Unanimous
Minutes
Bob D’Amelio, seconded by Tom Collins, made a motion to accept the minutes of September 7, 2010 as written.
Vote: 4-0-1, Rodney Frias not voting.
Dirk Underwood, seconded by Tom Collins, made a motion to accept the Executive Session minutes of September 13, 2010 as written.
Vote: 3-0-2, Rodney Frias and Bob D’Amelio not voting.
Bob D’Amelio, seconded by Dirk Underwood, made a motion to accept the minutes of October 5, 2010 as written.
Vote: 3-0-2, Rodney Frias and David Daigneault not voting.
Dirk Underwood, seconded by Tom Collins, made a motion to accept the Executive Sessions minutes of October 5, 2010 as written.
Vote: 3-0-2, Rodney Frias and David Daigneault not voting.
Route 85 Discussion
Ms. Burke informed the Board that the widening project for Route 85 is scheduled to be advertised in February of 2011. It is moving along and construction could begin as early as next year.
Ms. Burke asked the Board what their position is regarding the left hand turns along the corridor. After some discussion the Board agreed that decisions would be made on a case by case basis.
