Minutes of Meeting – December 1, 2009
The Hudson Planning Board met at the Town Hall, 78 Main Street, Hudson, Massachusetts.
At 7:00 p.m., Robert D’Amelio called the meeting to order.
Present: Robert D’Amelio, Tom Collins, Dirk Underwood, Charles Freeman, and Jennifer Burke, Planning Director.
Planner’s Report
Hammond Circle
Ms. Burke presented a bond reduction request. It has been one full year since street acceptance and no issues have arisen. DPW has agreed to the release of funds. Ms. Burke noted that $12,500 should remain for the two lots still unoccupied and for the acceptance process.
Rodney Frias, seconded by Charles Freeman, made a motion to reduce the bond for Hammond Circle to $12,500.
Vote: 4-0-0, Unanimous
Riverside Farms
Ms. Burke presented a bond reduction request. This street was accepted at Town Meeting this past November. DPW provided a reduction amount of $60,417.50. This includes 10% retainage to be held for 1 year post acceptance and $11,000 for 2 remaining lots and the acceptance process.
Charles Freeman, seconded by Dirk Underwood, made a motion to reduce the bond for Elaine Circle to $60,417.50.
Vote: 4-0-0, Unanimous
Cancel Meeting
Rodney Frias, seconded by Tom Collins, made a motion to cancel the December 15, 2009 meeting.
Vote: 4-0-0, Unanimous
Minutes
Charles Freeman, seconded by Dirk Underwood, made a motion to accept the minutes of November 3, 2009, as amended.
Vote: 3-0-1, with Rodney Frias abstaining
Tom Collins, seconded by Dirk Underwood, made a motion to release certain Executive Session minutes as noted in the Planning Director’s memo dated November 24, 2009.
Vote: 3-0-2, with Robert D’Amelio and Rodney Frias abstaining
