Planning Board Minutes 05/02/06
Minutes of Meeting— May 2, 2006

The Hudson Planning Board met at the Town Hall, 78 Main Street, Hudson, Massachusetts.  
At 7:30 p.m., Vice Chairman Rodney Frias called the meeting to order.
Present:        Dirk Underwood, Tom Collins, Rodney Frias and Town Planner, Jennifer Burke

Minutes

Tom Collins, seconded by Rodney Frias moved to approve the minutes of March 7, 2006 as written.

Vote: 4-0-0, Unanimous

Tom Collins, seconded by Dirk Underwood moved to approve the minutes of April 4, 2006 as amended.

Vote: 4-0-0, Unanimous

Tom Collins, seconded by Sante Parente moved to approve the minutes of April 18, 2006 as written.

Vote: 4-0-0, Unanimous

ANR

53 Mason Street
Dave Zanca from Zanca Land Surveyors presented the plan to the Board.  The Applicant would like to sell land to his neighbor so that his neighbor can construct an addition and meet the setback requirements.  The Board had no issues.

Tom Collins, seconded by Rodney Frias, moved to accept the plan entitled “Plan of Land in Hudson, MA” owned by Roderson LLC as drawn by Zanca Land Surveyors of Stow, MA, dated April 10, 2006 and Authorize the Agent to sign.

Vote: 4-0-0, Unanimous




Scenic Road Tree Hearing
Present was:    Dottie Gill, DPW

Ms. Gill explained that the tree is located on Forest Avenue and is dying.  The Board had no questions.  There was no input from the public.

Rodney Frias, seconded by Tom Collins, moved to close the public hearing for scenic road tree cutting.

Vote: 4-0-0, unanimous

Dirk Underwood recused himself.

Chestnut Hill Estates
Present was:    Tom DiPersio, Thomas Land Surveyors
                Mike Heim, The Oakwood Group

Mr. DiPersio presented the new clearing plan to the Board.  The applicant is not proposing to change anything along the Underwood’s property line.  The only change is to lot 2.  They are proposing to clear to the stone wall to move the house to the left.

The Board had no issues with the proposal.

Tom Collins, seconded by Rodney Frias, moved that the proposed change is considered a minor modification to the subdivision approval and no further review is required.

Vote: 3-0-0, Unanimous

Dirk Underwood returned to the Board.

Adjournment

Dirk Underwood, seconded by Tom Collins, moved to adjourn at 8:15pm.

Vote: 4-0-0, Unanimous
