Minutes of Meeting—June 3, 2003
A meeting of the Hudson Planning Board was held in the Hudson Town Hall, 78 Main Street, Hudson, Massachusetts. At 7:30p.m., Robert D’Amelio, Chairman, called the meeting to order.
Members present were: Robert D’Amelio, Richard Gelpke, Rodney Frias, and Joan Melillo
Member absent was: Peter de Bakker
Minutes.
Robert D’Amelio, seconded by Richard Gelpke, made a motion to approve the Minutes of the May 20, 2003 meeting as amended.
Vote: 4-0-0 unanimous
Agenda: July 1, 2003
Robert D’Amelio, seconded by Richard Gelpke, made a motion to cancel the July 3, 2003 meeting.
Vote: 4-0-0 unanimous
Discussion: Falls Brook
Present was: Farooq Ansari, Ansari & Associates
The Board expressed concern regarding the subdivision right of way. They noted a 20,000 cubic yard pile of materials in the middle of one of the lots. The pile must be removed, and subdivision completed, by August 31st, 2003.
Discussion: Community Development Project
Present was: Michelle Ciccolo
At the request of Mr. Gelpke, Ms. Ciccolo discussed the Community Development Project. Ms. Ciccolo invited the board members to attend the public meetings scheduled on June 24th and 26th at 7:30 p.m.
Discussion: Bolton Planning Board Meeting
Mr. D’Amelio discussed a meeting he attended in Bolton regarding a proposed plan to open the end of Bush Road in Hudson, currently a cul-de-sac, in order to provide the only access to a proposed Stow subdivision. At the Bolton meeting, Mr. D’Amelio took the opportunity to express to the developers concerns regarding Bush Road quality of life, as well concerns regarding issues of Fire and Police responsibility.
Mr. D’Amelio noted that the aforementioned developers plan to come before the Hudson Planning Board at an unspecified date.
