Minutes of Park Commission Meeting
Held on Tuesday, November 15, 2016
Selectmen’s Hearing Room, Town Hall at 8:00am
1. Call Meeting to Order:
Mr. Scafidi called the meeting to order at 8:00am. Members present were Mr. Scafidi, Mr. Wood and Mr. Bowen. Also present, Mr. Santos and Mr. Hannon.

A. Fall-Winter 2016-17 Part-Time Seasonal Employee Recommendations

5. Director’s Report:
A. Mr. Santos informed the Park Commission on the finances related to the recent Pumpkin Fest event and also discussed upcoming budget meetings and programs such as Instructional Youth Basketball.
6. Communications and/or Correspondence to be noted by Commissioners:
A. Memo from Brian Reagan (HHS) – request for Additional Passenger Van Use
The Park Commission reviewed the request for additional passenger van use, in addition to HHS Athletics programs. Members of the Park Commission stated that they were in support of granting additional use of the van for HHS Career Pathways Program purposes (approx. 6-10 trips each year to post-secondary education institutes and training programs).
7. Old Business:
A. Playground Inspections Project Status
Mr. Santos informed the Park Commissioners that he had sent RFQ’s to four companies, received quotes from three in return and that the procurement would soon be processed so that work on this project could begin.
