Minutes of Park Commission Meeting
Held on Tuesday, October 18, 2016
Selectmen’s Hearing Room, Town Hall at 8:00am
1. Call Meeting to Order:
Mr. Scafidi called the meeting to order at 8:07am. Members present were Mr. Scafidi, Mr. Wood and Mr. Bowen. Also present, Mr. Santos and Mr. Hannon.

5. Director’s Report:
A. FY18 Budget Review
Mr. Santos discussed the proposed FY18 budget with the Park Commission. The Park Commission reviewed individual budget line items, the Seasonal Salary Scale, Capital Project requests (Morgan Bowl Track Resurfacing and Stone Wall Repairs) and all Town Meeting Articles as part of the discussion. Mr. Scafidi expressed that he was pleased with the FY18 budget as presented; including the Seasonal Salary Scale, the FY18 Capital Project request and the Youth Sports Article for the May Town Meeting. 7. Old Business:
A. Playground Inspections Project Status
Mr. Santos informed the Park Commissioners that the Recreation department was in the process of sending out a RFQ for the Playground Inspections as part of the FY17 budget. Options for inspections/audits were discussed. And the Park Commissioners recommended that Hudson Recreation move forward with Low Frequency Inspections for all playground facilities.
