Minutes of Park Commission Meeting
Held on Wednesday, October 22, 2014
Recreation Office, Town Hall at 8:00am
1. Call Meeting to Order:
Mr. Redding called the meeting to order at 8:00 am. Members present were Mr. Redding, Mr. Scafidi, and Mr. Bowen. Also present, Mr. Santos.
2. Minutes to Approve:
A. Public Session – October 7, 2014 - Tabled
3. Citizens Issues / Special Interest Groups:
A. None
4. Personnel:
A. None
5. Director’s Report:
A. Budget was presented to Park Commission as prepared by Mr. Santos. Discussion followed including input from Mr. Redding regarding future use of CPC funds as a funding source. Mr. Redding indicated that Hudson Recreation should try to utilize potential CPC funds for future projects as listed, whenever applicable. Mr. Redding motioned to accept that Youth Sports Article, as written, with the condition that prior to the organizations listed receive any distribution of said funds, they must first submit the Youth Sports Questionnaire to the Recreation Office. Seconded by Mr. Scafidi and carried… Vote: 3 -0 in favor.
The Park Commission to review all budget documents and at the next Park Commission meeting, scheduled for Tuesday, October 28, 2014, the will continue discussing the budget for final consideration and approval.
