Minutes of Park Commission Meeting
Held on Tuesday, September 2, 2014
Recreation Office, Town Hall at 8:00am
1. Call Meeting to Order:
Mr. Redding called the meeting to order at 8:00am. Member present were Mr. Redding, Mr. Scafidi and Mr. Bowen. Also present were Mr. Santos and Ms. Ghiloni.
2. Minutes of Meetings:
a. Public Session – August 5, 2014
Mr. Bowen motioned to approve the minutes of the August 5, 2014 minutes as written, seconded by Mr. Scafidi and carried….

3. Citizens Issues/Special Interest Groups
No one in attendance.
4. Personnel:
a. Discussion regarding process for the Director of Recreation position. The current Director put together a timetable, posting information and interviews schedule. The Executive Assistant must sign off on the schedule, which he did in an email.
Mr. Redding motioned to appoint Mr. Steven Santos as Interim Director beginning on September 10, 2014, seconded by Mr. Scafidi and carried…

The Director will send a letter to the Board of Selectmen requesting their confirmation.
