Minutes of Park Commission Meeting
Held on Tuesday, October 30, 2012
Recreation Office, Town Hall at 7:00 pm
1. Call Meeting to Order:
Mr. Bowen called the meeting to order at 7:00pm. Member present were Mr. Bowen and Mr. Scafidi. Mr. Redding was absent from the meeting. Also present were Mr. Santos and Ms. Ghiloni.
2. Minutes of Meetings:
a. Public Session – October 16, 2012
Mr. Scafidi motioned to approve the minutes of the October 16, 2012 minutes as written, seconded by Mr. Bowen and carried….

3. Citizens Issues/Special Interest Groups

4. Personnel:
a. The Director requested approval of Fall Winter 2012-13 New Hires (list attached). Mr. Bowen motioned to approve recommendations, seconded by Mr. Scafidi and carried…

5. Director’s Report:
a. Annual Report. The Commissioners present signed the Annual Report.
6. Communications and/or Correspondence to be noted by Commissioners:

7. Old Business
a. Fossile Field Development. The Director showed the commissioners pictures of the progress at Fossile Field. The field has been graded, hydro seeded and irrigation was installed.
b. Camera’s at Cellucci Park. The initial installation of equipment in Town Hall to support the cameras was installed on Saturday, along with Town Hall and Senior Center camera’s. The park equipment will be installed soon.
c. Pumpkin Fest. This year’s event was as successful as last years with gate receipts roughly the same amount. The weather was excellent and the organizations involved were pleased with their profits from the event.
