Minutes of Park Commission Meeting
Held on Wednesday, April 22, 2009
At 7:00 pm in Town Hall Auditorium
1. Call the Meeting to Order:
Mr. Redding called the meeting to order at 7:15pm. Members present were Mr. Redding and Mr. Busch. Mr. Bowen was absent from the meeting. Also present were Mrs. Ghiloni and Mr. Santos.
2. Minutes to Approve:
Mr. Busch motioned to accept the minutes of the February 3, 2009 meeting as written, seconded by Mr. Redding and carried…

3. Citizens Issues/Special Interest Groups:
NONE
4. Personnel
A. Mr. Redding, as Chairman signed the Evaluation on Mr. Santos that was completed by Mrs. Ghiloni.
B. Previous Summer Employees Recommendations – Mr. Redding motioned to accept the list of recommendations with the exception of Brian Vincuillo, seconded by Mr. Busch and carried….

5. Director’s Report
A. Legal Advertisements for Centennial Beach and Wood Park – Mrs. Ghiloni informed the Park Commission that the Legal Ads would be in the papers on Thursday, April 23, 2009 and that all bids submitted would be opened in the presence of the Town Clerk. Bid specifications were also mailed to Vee Bops and Juniper Farms.

7. Old Business:
A. CPA Funding for Town Meeting – Mrs. Ghiloni informed the commissioners that there will be an $8,000 expenditure request by the Community Preservation Committee for survey work and site condition plans for a piece of property adjacent to the Cherry Street ballfield. The parcel was taken in tax title several years ago.
