Minutes of Park Commission Meeting

1. CALL THE MEETING TO ORDER:
Mr. Busch called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm. Members present were Mr. Busch and Mr. Redding. Also present were Mrs. Ghiloni and Mr. Santos.
2. MINUTES TO APPROVE:
Mr. Redding motioned to adopt the minutes of the June 19, 2007 meeting as written, seconded by Mr. Busch and carried…

3. CITIZEN ISSUES / SPECIAL INTEREST GROUPS:
a. Arthur Gordon present to discuss concerns with skateboard park. He questioned the signs and when they would be placed on site and the wording of the signs. He was informed they should be up within the next week and that the Towns insurance company was involved in the actual wording on the signs. Mr. Gordon also suggested volunteers to monitor the park that are trained in first aid. He questioned the splash pad and Board of Health involvement. He was told that they Board’s agent had been involved since the beginning and that a license would be issued for the reclamation system and that the system would be monitored. Mr. Redding stated the commissioners would take Mr. Gordon’s suggestions under advisement.
