Minutes of Meeting held on Tuesday, September 12, 2006
1. CALL THE MEETING TO ORDER:
Mr. Chiasson called the meeting to order at 7:10 p.m. Members present were Mr. Chiasson and Mr. Redding. Also present were Mrs. Ghiloni and Mr. Santos.
2. MINUTES OF MEETING: AUGUST 22, 2006.

3. CITIZENS ISSUES:
A. Moulton’s field resident issue: Board stated that fencing/netting is not feasible in this area to solve issue of baseballs and softballs being hit onto his property.
4. PERSONNEL:
None.
5. DIRECTORS REPORT:
Annual Report: Reviewed and signed by commissioners.
Inventory: Reviewed by commissioners
6. COMMUNICATIONS AND/OR CORRESPONDENCE TO BE NOTED BY COMMISSIONERS:
None to discuss.
7. OLD BUSINESS:
A. Board updated Mrs. Ghiloni and Mr. Santos on meeting they had with Director of Public Works – Tony Marques. Mr. Marques suggested to commission members that events should be scheduled more evenly throughout all the fields and that more time be scheduled in between games to allow for easier flow of traffic. He also suggested that the commission member come up with more stringent regulations having to do with holding events in inclement weather.
The commissioners informed Mr. Marques that the Recreation Department sees the need for more manpower and more equipment and that they would help rally in any way to obtain said items and personnel as both departments budget for the upcoming year.
