Information regarding project for November Special Town Meeting Warrant.
The Committee requested three quotes for the parking lot expansion project to ensure that the amount of $80,000 was sufficient to proceed. Mr. Sam Calandra was present and submitted two quotes for the expansion, with two additional quotes from contractors still pending. Discussion followed regarding the lowest quote from Construction Materials Services, Inc. who has the ability to provide the necessary services requested within the amount being funded by the Committee. Additionally discussion took place regarding the second quote which was approximately twice the cost. The Committee will continue to discuss the project over the next several months prior to awarding HYSoccer the grant to proceed.
