7:00 Discussion of Old North Realty Trust Property – Jennifer Thompson
Mr. Parent opened the meeting to discuss the Old North Realty Trust Property second appraisal performed by Jennifer Thompson’s appraiser. The difference is approximately $100,000 a 40% higher appraisal than the one performed by the Town in the spring. Discussion followed regarding the differences, other land appraisals and purchases the Town has made in the past and negotiations followed. Mrs. Ghiloni asked if Mrs. Thompson would split the difference. Mrs. Thompson indicated that she wanted the full appraisal price, then talked about taking the smaller price and selling it off offering the town the larger parcel. Mrs. Ghiloni indicated that another appraisal would need to be performed on the one parcel, which could not be done by the deadline for November Town Meeting.in light of that
Mr. Breton motioned to offer $300,000 for the two parcel if the members of Old North Realty Trust approved, seconded by Mr. Parent and carried…
Vote: 5-0 in Favor
In the event that the Trust does not accept the $300,000 for the two parcels there could be further discussions regarding the sale of the one small ANR lot privately by the Trust and the Town moving forward with an appraisal of the larger parcel over the coming months. Mrs. Thompson will inform the board of their decision by Thursday, August 24, 2015.

Mrs. Ghiloni distributed copies of general administrative functions that she performs for the committee.
