7:00 pm Discussion – Community Garden Project
Bobb Burgess – Representative for the Community Garden project approved by the CPC for funding requested reallocating certain line items within their original scope of the project. The original request called for 550 of post and rail fence and was to add only 22 new beds for a total of 54. They have had over 80 applications filed for this season and would like to reduce the post and rail amount length and amount, to increase the number of beds. Mrs. Ghiloni distributed the original line item information with the changes requested by the Community Garden Members.

Mr. Burgess also mentioned that there is a balance of approximately $2200 in the account with the changes and that they are looking into a shade area – pergola type structure to place on the cement patio since the area is extremely sunny which is good for the garden area, but this would give individuals some relief from the sun. They will look into the cost and inform the CPC if that is a possibility.
