- Habitat for Humanity – Security Release
The closing for the Habitat for Humanity House is scheduled for Wednesday, December 8, 2010. CPA had a funding agreement to ensure that the house was built and that the funding allocated by CPA was spent in a timely manner. Ms. Burke contacted the Registry of Deed to make sure the deed was recorded as an affordable, which it was. She also contacted DHCD to request this property be added to our affordable housing stock inventory. At this point she recommends releasing the funding agreement and requests permission to sign the Discharge of Mortage. - Mr. D’Amelio asked if CPA could build a playground for ages 2 to 5. Ms. Ghiloni explained that renovating or adding recreation amenities to existing recreation land is not allowed by current CPA legislation. ____ 90 would change that rule, but that has not been acted at this point. The creation of recreation facilities can only be done on land that was purchased with CPA funds for that purpose.
- Ms. Burke asked if anyone was interested in updating the current CPC Plan that would be voted on at the January Public Hearing, a copy of the notice of hearing was given to each member present. No one came forward, so Ms. Ghiloni and Ms. Burke will work on the update.
