Minutes of Meeting Held on July 17, 2007

Also present was Michelle Ciccolo.
Linda Ghiloni nominated Jennifer Burke as the Chairperson of the CPC, seconded by John Parent. Vote: 6 – 0 in favor
John Parent nominated Linda Ghiloni as Vice Chairperson of the CPC, seconded by George Chiasson.
Vote: 6 – 0 in favor
Copies of the Legislation governing the CPC were distributed to those present outlining the duties and requirements of the committee.
Discussion following regarding criteria for funding through the CPC, and the Town plans on file that should be included as part of the guidelines, such as the Town’s Capital Plan, Open Space and Recreation Plan, Community Development Plan, Heritage Landscape and Urban River Visioning Initiative. Jennifer Burke and Linda Ghiloni will work on Hudson’s the application and guidelines using several area towns information as a guide.
A list of members of the committee with their names and contact information will be distributed to all committee members for their information.
The Town will receive matching funds from the state in October of 2008, so any funds requested for the May 2008 Town meeting would need to be borrowed in anticipation of that funding.
Once Applications, Guidelines and Committee information is compiled it will be available to individuals on the Town’s website.
