1.0     Preliminaries
1.1.    Dale Nadeau opened the meeting at 7:30 PM.
1.2.    Roll Call:  Dale Nadeau and Jim Saart were present.  Dan Ehntholt was absent.
1.3.    Additions or deletions to the agenda.

2.0     Hearings and Appointments
2.1     7:30     PM     A to Z Vending

The Board noted that Sam Wong made a recommendation that the Board deny this request based on information from the Tobacco Control Director of the Mass Municipal Association, and also an attorney, that tobacco who say that vending machines are disappearing even from large cities such as Boston and Worcester.~ Both of these cities now each has less than 15 tobacco vending machines left.~ Hudson has 7 or 8 of these machines.~ Keep in mind that most of these machines are located in fraternal organizations, which do have people under 18 from time to time and they are usually not inspected by tobacco control compliance checks.

Dale Nadeau noted that he recently became aware that the high school baseball players go into the Hudson Elks for ice.

Dale Nadeau made a motion to deny issuance of a variance, seconded by Jim Saart with all in favor. 2-0.

3.0     Minutes
3.1     April 12, 2006 – tabled.
4.0     Budget
4.1     Dale Nadeau made a motion to approve the vouchers (VNA $550.00 and Code Training for Lead $25.00), seconded by Jim Saart with all in favor.  2-0
5.0     Review Septic Permits
5.1     12 Rolling Lane - DPW letter states all aspects of the plan are in compliance with Title V.  Dale Nadeau made a motion to issue the septic permit for 12 Rolling Lane, seconded by Jim Saart with all in favor. 2-0
5.2     16 Woodrow St. – DPW letter states the plan references an Orenco Vent detail, however this is not shown on the plan.  (Tom DiPersio is going to revise the plan to take off the note detail.)  All other aspects of the plan are in compliance with Title V.  Dale Nadeau made a motion to issue the septic permit for 16 Woodrow St. subject to Thomas Land Surveyors submitting the revised plan eliminating the detail for the Orenco vent, seconded by Jim Saart with all in favor.  2-0
5.3     22-24 Lakeside Ave. – DPW letter recommends a deed restriction on both houses limiting the houses to two bedrooms a piece. (awaiting Steve Poole) – Tabled.
5.4     21 A – D Worcester Ave. revisions. (awaiting Steve Poole) – Tabled.
6.0     General Business – none.
7.0     Correspondence
7.1     DPH – Homeland and Health Alert Network – Proctor will be the contact.
8.0     Health Agent’s Correspondence – none.

10.0    Advertisements and Conferences
11.0    Commentary - Town meeting May 1, 2006.
12.0    Adjournment – Dale Nadeau made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 7:40 PM, seconded by Jim Saart with all in favor.
