I. Discussion of Resale/Foreclosure Notices
a. 250 Main Street, Unit 207
b. 1 Knotts Street
c. 250 Main Street, Unit 313 – Foreclosure
d. Blueberry Lane
Discussion followed regarding the four units above. The Knotts Street condo had an application for purchase pending with CHAPA so no decision was made by the committee at this time.
The committee decided to look more closely at the Blueberry Lane house which is in the LIP Program, since it was a three bedroom and could accommodate an entire family. Unfortunately, it was purchased by the current owner at $251,000 and would need to be sold at the current affordable price of $201,000. They requested that Mr. Santos make an appointment to look at the property with another member of the committee to see if the purchase would be feasible.
The Esplanade units are limited to over 55 and seem a lot less marketable. The foreclosure unit would require the committee to buy it or loose it.
