Absent: Sarto Caron, Associate Ron Seaburg, Secretary
7:00 PM The Board discussed general issues.
7:30 PM Special Permit Continuance Joe Niemeroski, owner 25 Old County Road R30-B-01 Builder Mark Lamontagne represented the petitioner. Mark reported that Holland Selectman Mike Kennedy and Holland Highway Surveyor Brian Johnston went to look at the property and suggested setting up hay bales and digging a drainage ditch to protect the property of the abutters from flooding. Mr. Lamontagne said he had created a small berm. Abutters Brenda and Philip Gagne were not satisfied with the Selectmen’s response and walked out of the hearing, stating they did not know where to turn next. Chairperson Fred Beaulieu observed that the time for deciding upon this Special Permit was running out and there was much more work to be done before a decision could be made. He suggested to Mark Lamontagne that the time be extended, which Mr. Lamontagne agreed to. Scribe Donald Beal will write a letter to this effect to the
Holland Town Clerk, with copies to Mr. Lamontagne and property owner Joseph Niemeroski. Mr. Lamontagne will contact Mark Farrell for help in marking the corners of the proposed building so that measurements can be made by the ZBA at a future site review, date and time to be determined. A continuance was set for Tuesday, April 9 at 7:30 PM.
