Meeting minutes for September 24, 2015
Members present: Peggy Lowell, Lynn Harhay, Janet Mullins; absent-Jessi McCarthy, Director
The Chairman called the meeting to order at 4:09PM
Old Business
- Minutes: The August minutes were approved by a vote of 3-0.
- Director’s report: The report was not available due to the Director’s absence.
- Building project: Carolann McMaster of Auburn was not available, but will be asked to join us at a later date; this item was tabled.
- Landscape and lawn: A Spring clean-up day was discussed; hostas have been volunteered by Town residents.
- Building maintenance: Lynn will buy the paint and kick plate for the doors; a date of October 4, 2015 at 9:30AM was set for painting.
- Update on DVD, volunteers and fines policies: This item was tabled.
New Business
- All Boards meeting: Lynn explained what was discussed at the All Boards meeting on September 17, 2015; a liaison will be assigned to the Library to provide easy access to the Select Board.
- Trunk or Treat: The library’s activities for Trunk or Treat were discussed; Jessi will provide the decorations; a fake firepit for reading stories closer to the cars will be installed.
- Cultural Council grants: Grants to the Library are available; paperwork needs to be completed by the second week in October and submitted by Jessi.
- Next meeting: October 15, 2015
- The Chairman adjourned the meeting at 4:46PM.
