Meeting minutes for May 21, 2015
Members present: Peggy Lowell, Lynn Harhay; Jessi McCarthy, Director; absent: Janet Mullins
The Chairman called the meeting to order at 4:02PM
Old Business
- April minutes were approved by a vote of 2-0
Director’s report, attached
Building project: There was a discussion of survey types including: Survey Monkey, an online survey system, and sticky boards set up at various Town locations. Also discussed briefly was the type of building envisioned and its purposes. June’s meeting will be used to discuss how to proceed.
Book sale: The book sale will coincide with the Town-wide Tag sale on June 13, from 9-2PM
Lawn care: $350 has been set aside for lawn care in the new budget; Lynn will contact several local landscapers for estimates.
New hours: The five extra hours approved at Annual Town Meeting will be on Thursdays from 3-8PM.
Community Center cooperation: The Library will have a tent for an additional book sale at the Zucchini Festival.
Friends start-up: This item was not discussed.
WordPress site: Our site is live and getting traffic even as it’s still under construction by Jessi.
Policies: Lynn asked if the new approved policies were in typed form; they have not been completed but will be distributed to the Trustees when finished.
New Business
- Vouchers: Vouchers were signed for $1136.20.
