Meeting Minutes
September 7, 2016
Call To Order
The Chairman called to order a meeting of the Holland Finance Board at 7:00 P.M. on September 7, 2016 at the Holland Town Hall.
Roll Call
Finance Board members present were: Ernie Fancy, Don Laing, and Mike Brady. Not present were John Ebersold and Joe Yiznitsky.
Approval of Minutes
The minutes of the July 14, 2016 meeting were approved.
Open Issues
Election of Officers for FY17:
Ernie Fancy and Mike Brady were re-elected as Chairman and Secretary, respectively. Don Laing was elected as Vice Chairman. All elections were unanimous.
Review of Tax Collector’s Request to Transfer of Funds:
The Tax Collector has requested a second license for access to the VADAR system and a corresponding transfer of $990 to the expense account. The Finance Board took no action on the request as the members did not fully understand the need for the second license, and the fact that there is currently a sufficient amount in the account to cover the cost of the additional license.
Discussion of Meeting Schedule and Department Interviews for FY18 Budget Process:
Some members of the Finance Board will be out of town for significant periods of time during the winter season. Alternatives to the usual schedules that were discussed, included having meetings on Saturdays or having meetings on multiple weekday nights. No final decisions have been made.

There is no next scheduled meeting at this time.

The Chairman adjourned the meeting at 7:30 P.M.
