Meeting Minutes
August 20, 2014
Call To Order
The Chairman called to order a meeting of the Holland Finance Board at 7:30 PM on August 20, 2014 at the Holland Town Hall.
Roll Call
Finance Board members present: Andrew Harhay, Ernest Fancy, John Phelps, John Ebersold and Mike Brady.
Approval of Minutes
The draft minutes of the July 23, 2014 had been previously distributed for review. The minutes were approved unanimously, as written.
New Business
Transfer from the Reserve Fund: The request for the transfer of $3,600 from the Reserve Fund was approved unanimously. There has been a change in the Town’s Veteran Agent, and this amount reflects the compensation for the new Agent. If approved at the next Town Meeting $3,600 will be transferred from the District Veteran’s Assessment back to the Reserve Fund and the remaining amount, $2,243, in the District Veteran’s Assessment will be transferred to the Veterans’ Benefit account.
FY16 Budget Development Schedule: After a review and discussion of the FY15 Schedule, it was approved unanimously that the FY16 Schedule should be approximately the same as the FY15 Schedule.
Next Meeting
The next meeting will be on Wednesday, September 17. This will begin the usual schedule of meetings on the first and third Wednesday’s of the month.
