Chairperson called the meeting to order at 7:00 PM.  The minutes of the January 10, 2012 meeting were read and approved.

Old Business

Harry Baillargeon of 215 Mashapaug Road wants a Certificate of Compliance which was given after a site review done on January 14, 2012 by Marianne Martone and Marcia Beal .  Also noted were trees cut and a drainage ditch dug at the access point next door.  This will be discussed at length at another meeting.

Michael Lyman of 344 Mashapaug Road wants a Certificate of Compliance and it was granted after a site visit on January 14, 2012 by Marianne Martone and Marcia Beal.

Gary Boniface of 11 Craig Street wished to have a wall built.  A site visit was made on January 14, 2012 by Marianne Martone and Marcia Beal.  There were still questions about the project and another site visit will be made by Mary Lovett and James Wettlaufer.

New Business

We welcomed Neil Byrne who is considering becoming a member and we hope he will attend the next meeting.

7:15 PM - Frank Campaniello of 6 Vinton Road inquired about remodeling, but needs to see the Building Inspector and have paperwork started to proceed.

7:30 PM - Dennis Allard of 25 Shore Drive (R02-A-07) is building a new deck 6 feet out from his home and 35 feet away from the lake and will be using Sonotubes.

7:45 PM - The Highway Department will resubmit the Notice of Intent work order for approval.  A hearing will be held on February 28, 2012.

8:00 PM - James Wettlaufer presented concerns by the Fire Department that the level of the lake is too low and will restrict the amount of water available for emergencies.  The lake level needs to be raised again for the safety of the town.   James Wettlaufer made the motion and it was seconded by Marianne Martone.

8:20 PM - The annual Conference of the Massachusetts Association of Conservation Commissions to be held on March 3, 2012 at Holy Cross College in Worcester was discussed and Marcia Beal urged members to note which workshops they were interested in so we can sign up and get our fees sent in.  She requested responses before the February 28, 2012 meeting.

Because there was no business scheduled and we will be short of Board members it was decided that we would cancel our meeting on February 14, 2012.

8:30 PM - Meeting adjourned.

                                                                                               Respectfully submitted by,
