Holland Conservation Commission
Minutes of Commission meeting held October 26, 2010
Present: Mary VandenBerg, Chairperson, Nathan Gumlaw and Marcia Beal.
Absent: James Wettlaufer and Patricia Caron
7:00 Chairperson called the meeting to order. The minutes of the October 12 meeting were read and accepted.
Old Business:
None
New Business:
A forest cutting plan for Paul Gillis was sent to the Board and accepted.
The budget was discussed and will be the same as last year.
The meeting of the selectmen and Pioneer Valley on October 20th was discussed. As part of the enforcement act the Pioneer Valley Associates will plan the seminar for all of the towns at a one day meeting.
7:30 PM The public hearing for Dominic Gentile of 11B Lakeside Drive – He presented his NOI which was approved and accepted.
8:00 PM A continuance for John Beltrand of 93 Maybrook Road was held. The raised foundation and septic system were approved and accepted.
8:30 PM Alfred Depeau of 5 Shore Drive inquired about putting in a retaining wall and was advised to start a NOI.
9:00 PM Meeting adjourned.
