Minutes of Commission meeting held on October 14, 2008.

Present: Mary vandenBerg, Chairperson, Patricia Caron, Howard Fife, Rolf Hilbig and James Wettlaufer.
7:00 p.m. Chairperson called the meeting to order.
7:05 p.m. The minutes of October 7, 2008 were read and accepted and will be distributed.
JMP, Environmental Consulting Inc was called on October 9, 2008 and a message was left requesting the Book and Page of the recorded ORAD from the Hampden Registry of Deeds in order to complete their request for an extension.
Boards Agent Howard Fife did another site visit at 88 Sturbridge Rd., DEP File #184-182 and found that the grass is not sufficiently grown to provide erosion control to the wetlands so we are still unable to grant a Certificate of Compliance.
Members signed the Vendor Voucher paying The Republican for Ray Murawski and Michael LaMountain’s Legal Ads.
7:25 p.m. Kevin Knight of 29 Bennett Rd. reported that his neighbor Normand Butler is still cutting trees within 100’ of the wetlands (as reported on April 22, 2008). Boards Agent Howard Fife is to do another site visit.
7:35 p.m. Bob Benoit of 90 May Brook Rd. reported having bought a pipe to divert storm water from his property (having been issued an Emergency Certificate form back in November 2005). He would like Brian Johnson, Highway Department supervisor, to dig the trench. Brian referred him back to Conservation. He was told that he would require an engineer who is knowledgeable in MA stream crossing regulations.
7:50 p.m. Richard Righetti wants to construct a 16’ x 24’ garage at 47 Shore Dr., Map R-02-A-18. His plot plan was reviewed and was given a Request for Determination form and told that his Public Hearing would be on November 25, 2008 at 7:30 p.m.
Motion to adjourn was made, seconded and approved by all. Meeting adjourned at 8:30 p.m.
