Holland Conservation Commission
Minutes of Commission meeting held on June 19, 2007.
Present: Mary vandenBerg, Chairperson, Patricia Caron, Rolf Hilbig and Kathleen McGrory. Absent: Steven Anderstrom, Howard Fife and James Wettlaufer.
7:00 p.m. Chairperson called the meeting to order.
7:05 p.m. Minutes of Commission Meeting held on June 12, 2007 were read and accepted and will be distributed.
Mary vandenBerg reported:
1. Having received from the Executive Secretary a memo regarding a phone call from a Mr. David Dunnells of addressStreet29 Island Rd. regarding a dock on his property built by his neighbor, Mr. Scott. The neighbors disagree as to the property boundaries. Mr. Dunnells was advised to attend a Conservation meeting. He did not attend.
2. Having spoken to Elisa Deminico of addressStreet90 Maybrook Rd. regarding piles of sand on their property near the Maybrook/Sandy Beach junction. Mary vandenBerg instructed her to immediately place a silt fence between the new material and May brook.
7:50 p.m. Vicky and Craig Stavola of 2 Leisure Dr. presented us with their plant list as agreed to in the Fall of 2006.
8:00 p.m. Kristin LaPlante, Town Clerk informed us that during last month’s storm the culvert collapsed at addressStreet4 Marcy Place near the far end of addressStreetStafford Rd. FEMA is to do the plan and provide material for a three-sided concrete culvert. The labor is to be done by the Highway Dept.
Motion to adjourn was made, seconded and approved by all. Meeting adjourned at 8:05 p.m.
