Minutes of Commission meeting held on November 28, 2006.

Present: Mary vandenBerg, Chairperson, Patricia Caron, Howard Fife, Rolf Hilbig, Kathleen McGrory and James Wettlaufer. Absent: Steven Anderstrom.
7:00 p.m. Chairperson called the meeting to order.
7:05 p.m. Minutes of Commission Meeting held on November 21, 2006 were read, accepted and will be distributed.
7:10 p.m. We received a 2006 Summary Report from Lycott Environmental Inc.
7:15 p.m. Site visit at 2 Leisure Dr. where pictures were taken was discussed. Motion to send a letter with our findings and proposals was made and approved by all.
7:45 p.m. Roy St. Andre who recently purchased lakeside property on Candlewood Dr. questioned the procedure he would need to take in order to cut down 4 trees in order for him to view the lake. He was advised to hire a tree service company who would advise him and to present to the board a narrative of his procedure and how he will prevent erosion and sedimentation into the lake.
8:00 p.m. Lorraine and William Cromack of Lakeshore Dr. explained that while they had the equipment on site to repair the retaining wall, asked permission of Helen Kreiger’s daughter to cut the maple tree down because falling branches damaged the siding on their house and felt that the tree was diseased. They felt that the retaining wall along the waterfront will prevent erosion and sedimentation into the lake and do plan to plant trees and shrubs. They have since purchased Helen Kreiger’s house and plan on demolishing it and will file a Notice of Intent.
8:15 p.m. FY2008 Budget was discussed and will be submitted.
8:25 p.m. Request for reappointment of Rolf Hilbig to the HCC from July 1, 2006 to June 30, 2009 is to be submitted to the Selectmen’s Board.
Motion to adjourn was made, seconded and approved by all. Meeting adjourned at 8:30 p.m.
