REPORTS
OUTREACH WORKER – Deb reports that May was a fairly productive month for Outreach. With contributions from Linda Artruc and Bobbi Kuhnly, Valerie Ebersold jumped in as the deadline neared to complete a large part of the enhanced 911 list of seniors in town. • Our fitness trainer has begun her evaluations of interested people. June 10th is the deadline for evaluations. Hand weights and resistance bands have been purchased for the arthritis exercise classes. • We have also received our permit to show movies and I would like to start this during June, on Thursday nights, to see if it catches on. These would be regular movies. Everything was
fine. She requested that I obtain copies of drivers’ licenses of people who drive our seniors, and evaluation sheets to be filled out by patrons of the Center. • Of the $3,000 appropriated from the Butterworth Trust, we have expended all but $450.00. • I have advertised for the positions of activities director at the Center and receptionist at town hall. These are “senior aide” positions. • I will submit a list of office supplied needed.
