Mr. Gillen called the meeting to order at 7:00pm
Approval of Minutes:
Motion 071916-1 Ms. Schmidt to waive the reading of minutes of July 5th and approve as written. So voted.
Appointments: Did not happen, no one showed up from School Committee.
Old Business:
LOC action task list Motion 071916-2 Ms. Schmidt motioned to table. 2nd Mr. Gillen so voted.
Review of Boat Ramp, Mr. Gillen explained that we had meet on July 16th to look at recommendations made by the LOC. The board met at 9 am. Mr. Allard took them out on his boat to look from the water. Two sites look good. Next plan of action will be to see if the town owns it or not.
New Business:
Motion 071916-2 Ms. Schmidt motioned to appoint Jon Smith to Recreation Committee, 2nd Mr. Gillen, so voted.
Joint meeting did not happen, School Committee did not show up.
Mr. Gillen signed the contact for the Website Grant; Ms. Schmidt asked how many pages there were on the website. Are there 500 or more?
Legal activity update: $1750 on recount.
Announcements; Ms. Schmidt announced the zucchini Festival would be August 14th from 12 to 4. Mr. Fancy explained if you had an old car to please enter it. Mr. Gillen asked if selectman would be judging the zucchini entries.
Public Access: Mr. Fancy asked if the Union 1 Contact had been signed. Mr. Gillen said he thought it has been.
