SELECT BOARD MINUTES FOR MEETING

Call to Order:
Mr. Mandell called the meeting to order at 7:03 pm.
Appointments to Address the Board:
ZBA conversation – Members present, Thomas Kenney, Donald Beal, Ron Seaburg
Also present Zoning Enforcement Officer, Rick Lundin
1. Discussed Mullen Rule – handout
Tom Kenney contacted Robert Mitchell, from the Attorney General’s office, who confirms if no transcripts or video recording, minutes will serve as adequate documentation for purposes of allowing for deliberation for member who has missed a meeting.
2. ZBA policy on this from 2013 – form attached
3. Mullin Rule – must send copy to Select Board as appointing authority
4. Ask Kelli to check with AG’s office on use of Mullin rule.
Questions asked why the reason the ZBA was asked to the meeting, asking to give notice of cause for being called to the meeting
Board Openings: Seeking 2 Alternate members, and all 3 sitting members are ending this year.
Talk of members going on vacation, and leaving no board.
