Selectmen’s Minutes
October 3, 2007
Opened: 7:05 P.M.
Present: Earl Johnson, Christian Petersen, James Wettlaufer
Motion 100307-1: Motion made by Christian Petersen, seconded by Earl Johnson to accept the minutes of the September 26th meeting as read, all in favor.
Chief Kevin Gleason accepted, with regret, the resignation of Officer Justin Davey and announced that the full-time position would be filled by Sgt. Bryan Haughey.
Motion 100307-2: Motion made by James Wettlaufer, seconded by Christian Peterson, all in favor, to sign the Regional Mutual Aid Agreement to authorize cooperating use of police powers, under certain situations, between Holland and 17 other neighboring towns.
Motion 100307-3: Motion made by James Wettlaufer, seconded by Christian Peterson, all in favor, to approve a public forum to review, discuss and amend, if necessary, Holland's Community Development Strategy to prepare for the Community Development Block Grant application. The forum is to be held on October 17, 2007, 7:30 p.m. in the Community Room of the Holland Town Hall.
Warrants were signed and delivered to the Treasurer.
Motion 100307-4: Motion made by James Wettlaufer, seconded by Christian Petersen to adjourn the meeting at 7:25 P.M., all in favor.
